Seattle, WA - Wing Luke & Asian Art Museum

The Wing Luke Museum is an urban update on the Asian Pacific American journey. They truly capture today’s generation of issues, art and culture.

The wonderful element regarding their museum is the constant rotation of exhibits. They are also located in Chinatown at 719 S King St, Seattle, WA 98104.

Aside from great tea, my favorite tribute in Seattle is their homage of numerous Chinese Street signs. This really makes you feel at home and that you are in a Chinatown that has been blessed with the prosperity and longevity.

We also had a chance to see wonderful ancient artifacts at the Asian Art Museum. Nearby is the Lake View Cemetery is at 1554 15th Ave E., Seattle where you can find the landmarked graves of both Bruce Lee and son Brandon Lee. This cemetery is quite unique in that the ethnicities are all buried together as equals, whereas many Chinese cemeteries were created out of segregation. Imagine, if we had all been buried together from the very beginning.
